This is the shape that the computer drew. It is called a Mandelbrot after Benoit Mandelbrot. It is still used today as the basis for many new formulas and much beautiful fractal art is produced with this simple formula. The art that I create is made with a continually evolving program called Ultra Fractal. It is one of the most versatile fractal programs on the market today.
